How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete Your Account in the App

You can permanently delete your account directly from the Autonomous Communities app.

Steps:
Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account

Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your deletion request.

Option 2: Request Account Deletion by Email

If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by contacting our support team.

Please include your registered email address or username so we can verify your identity before processing your request.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When your account is permanently deleted, we will remove or anonymize your personal information, including:

• Profile information (name, username, profile photo, bio).
• Email address and phone number (if provided).
• Posts, comments, photos, and videos.
• Private messages, where applicable and subject to legal requirements.
• Followers, following lists, and social connections.
• Saved preferences and account settings.
• Activity history associated with your account.

Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.

Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

• Security and audit logs.
• Records required for legal compliance.
• Information related to fraud prevention or abuse investigations.
• Data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Any retained information will only be stored for as long as required by applicable laws.

Processing Time

• Most deletion requests are completed within 7 days.
• Removal from backup systems may take up to 30 days.
• Additional verification may be required before processing certain requests.

Important Information

• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• You will no longer be able to sign in after your account is deleted.
• Your profile will no longer be visible to other users.
• Deleted content cannot be restored.
• If you wish to use Autonomous Communities again, you will need to create a new account.
