EZIANI AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY Eziani Autonomous Community is a culturally rich and community-oriented settlement in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, distinguished by its strong family values, agricultural heritage, communal solidarity, and commitment to preserving its traditions while embracing development opportunities. History & Origin Eziani Autonomous Community is one of the indigenous communities within the Nsukka cultural region of Enugu State. Like many communities in Nsukka land, its history is deeply rooted in ancestral migration, kinship ties, and the gradual establishment of family settlements that evolved into organized village structures. The name "Eziani" is closely associated with the history and identity of its founding families. Oral traditions remain an important source of historical knowledge, helping to preserve stories of migration, settlement, leadership succession, and communal growth from one generation to another.
