• Explore MLB The Show 26 Spooky Program With U4GM Guide

Halloween has arrived in Diamond Dynasty, bringing the Spooky Program to MLB The Show 26 on October 26, 2026. The limited-time reward track features high-rated player cards, seasonal cosmetics, packs, and XP. The main attraction is 99 OVR Spooky J.R. Richard, which you can unlock after earning just 20 program points. If you're planning how to improve your lineup, managing your MLB Stubs and choosing the right rewards can help you make the most of this Halloween event.

How to Unlock Spooky J.R. Richard

The fastest way to get started is to complete Spooky Conquest, the opening challenge available at launch.

    Here's what to do:

    • Enter Spooky Conquest: Open Diamond Dynasty and find the Halloween-themed Conquest map.
    • Complete the challenge: Finish the required Conquest objectives to earn 20 Spooky Program points.
    • Claim J.R. Richard: Reach the 20-point milestone to unlock the 99 OVR Spooky J.R. Richard card and collect the accompanying 4,000 XP.
    • Check your lineup: Compare Richard's attributes with your current rotation before deciding where he fits.

Completing Spooky Conquest also unlocks 99 OVR Willie Mays, giving you another valuable card without having to grind through the entire reward track. For players building a competitive squad, these two early rewards make the opening challenge well worth completing.

MLB The Show 26 Spooky Program Rewards

The program stretches across 100 points, mixing player rewards, packs, stadium customization, and mystery vouchers. Here's a breakdown of the key milestones.

    Early Milestones: 5–30 Points

    • 10 points: Deluxe Pack
    • 15 points: Mummy Icon
    • 20 points: 99 OVR Spooky J.R. Richard and 4,000 XP
    • 25 points: Werewolf Icon
    • 30 points: Deluxe Pack

These early rewards are the easiest place to start. Since Spooky Conquest provides the first 20 points, you can collect Richard without spending time working through every later milestone.

    Mid-Program Rewards: 35–70 Points

    • 35 points: MLB Draft Pack
    • 40 points: Mystery Item Voucher and 4,000 XP

  • 🎄 THERE IS A PARTICULAR KIND OF MAGIC THAT HAPPENS IN OPI-AGU EVERY DECEMBER.

'December in Opi-Agu: When the Community Counts Itself and Plans Its Future'

Compounds that were quiet in October begin to fill. The sound of Nsukka-Igbo spoken at full speed — the rapid, musical, affectionate cadence of people who have been storing up conversation for months — floats across family walls. Children who were in Lagos schools appear suddenly in the yard. Uncles who work in Abuja materialise at the dining table. The daughter who has been in London for two years is back, carrying chocolates and foreign currency and a hunger for ofe onugbu that no restaurant in Europe has ever properly satisfied. 🌿

This is the annual homecoming of the Opi-Agu diaspora. And it is one of the most economically and emotionally significant events in the community's calendar.
Because December in Opi-Agu is not just Christmas. It is the community's annual general meeting. The town union convenes. Projects are reviewed. Contributions are collected. New decisions are made. Development priorities are debated over palm wine and pounded yam and the particular seriousness of people who have been carrying their community's needs in their hearts all year, from cities far away, and have finally come home to do something about them.

The Opi-Agu diaspora — in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, London, Houston, Dublin, and beyond — already funds:
💸 School fees for younger family members
🏠 House construction that transforms family compounds
💧 Boreholes that give the community clean water
⚡ Generator fuel and increasingly solar panels
🏗️ Community hall renovations and church building contributions
📚 Scholarship funds for the community's brightest young people
What this diaspora has not yet fully done — and what the right platform makes possible:
🌐 A verified community profile that makes Opi-Agu findable by NGOs, investors, government agencies, and researchers year-round — not just when a diaspora member happens to mention it in conversation
📊 A transparent project tracking system that tells diaspora members exactly what their contributions built — building the trust that turns one-time donors into long-term investors
🛒 A digital marketplace that lets Opi-Agu farmers and artisans sell their produce to diaspora buyers online — so the December homecoming begins in October when the order for fresh palm oil is placed from London
🤝 A structured diaspora association that channels the collective goodwill of Opi-Agu people everywhere into coordinated, multiplied, development-grade investment
The community has the people. The people have the will. What has been missing is the infrastructure to organize the will into impact.
That infrastructure is now available. And it starts with a digital address.

  • 🌙 THERE ARE CERTAIN NIGHTS IN EHA-AZUABOR WHEN THE DRUMMING STARTS — AND EVERYTHING ELSE STOPS.

Not from fear. From reverence. Because everyone present understands, in a way that goes deeper than language, that what is happening is not ordinary.
    The Omabe has come.
In the Eha-Alumona corridor of Nsukka LGA — the cultural heartland to which Eha-Azuabor belongs — the Omabe masquerade is not a performance that communities stage. It is a sacred institution that arrives on its own terms, according to its own protocols, in its own season. 🥁
The Omabe are believed to embody the spirits of ancestors returning from Ụwa Mmụọ — the spirit world — to do what ancestors have always done: bless those who deserve it, correct those who need it, protect what must be protected, and remind the living that the chain of generations is unbroken and watching.

What the Omabe Festival involves in Eha-Azuabor and the wider corridor:
🥁 Elaborate drumming traditions — rhythms that carry meaning, not just sound, signalling the masquerades' approach to every compound across the community
🍽️ The sacred preparation of "ọkpa akụ ụlọ Ọmabe" — food prepared specifically for the masquerades in a ritual that connects the kitchen to the cosmos
🌙 Night ceremonies — the Omabe moving through the community in the darkness, visiting compounds, speaking in the voice of those who have crossed over
👁️ Strict protocol — women and children observe from designated positions, preserving the sacred mystery that gives the tradition its authority
🌿 Spiritual renewal — the community emerging from the festival cleansed, reordered, and reconnected to its deepest identity
And then, when the harvest season arrives, there is Iwa Ji — the New Yam Festival. The earth has given. The ancestors are honoured first. 🍠 The Onyishi breaks the first yam in ritual thanksgiving. And only then — only after the spiritual accounting is done — does the community lift its voice in the joyful, communal exhale of celebration.
Families in George wrappers and isi-agu fabric. Palm wine in gourds passed between hands. The ogene gong ringing across the highland. Songs older than the oldest person present.
This is Eha-Azuabor being exactly what its name promised: a gathering place.

    WHERE EZEMA-NE-EDEM KNEELS TOGETHER

"Saint Theophilus. Saint Peter's. The Baptist. The Deeper Life. One community, many altars."

Half a kilometre from Otobogidi mini-market, the spire of Saint Theophilus Catholic Church rises into the Nsukka sky.
It has been a landmark of Ezema for as long as most residents can remember. Inside on Sunday mornings, the voices of the community — young and old, farmer and civil servant, Ezema-Ne-Edem — blend in worship that sounds like the community itself singing.

Down the road, Saint Peter's Anglican Church has its own congregation. The Baptist Church. The Deeper Christian Life Ministry. Each a gathering point, each a community within the community.

Faith in Ezema-ne-Edem is not just what happens on Sunday. It is how widows are fed. How orphans are clothed. How a sick neighbour learns she is not alone. The churches of this community are not just places of worship — they are the social infrastructure of daily life.

And alongside this, the Attamah — the chief priest of Idenyi Nkwo — continues the older covenant, connecting the community to spiritual roots that run even deeper than any building can.

In Ezema-ne-Edem, peace is not just a motto. It is the lived agreement between every altar in this land. 🕊️

  • 🙏 IN IBAGWA-ANI, FAITH IS NOT JUST WHAT HAPPENS ON SUNDAY. IT IS THE GLUE THAT HOLDS THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER EVERY OTHER DAY OF THE WEEK.

The church bell rings across Ibagwa-Ani on Sunday mornings and something shifts in the air. Families emerge from compounds in their finest — women in George wrappers and gele, men in isi-agu tops and red caps, children scrubbed until they glow. The walk to church is itself a community event: greetings exchanged, disputes softened, news shared over the sound of sandals on laterite paths.

✝️🌿The Roman Catholic tradition — rooted in Nsukka since the early missionary era — runs deep in the cultural fabric of Ibagwa-Ani. The Church is where children were first named in God's hearing. Where marriages were blessed before the community. Where the dead were commended to eternal rest with music and incense.
But the Church in Ibagwa-Ani is not just spiritual architecture. It is development infrastructure:
📚 The mission school tradition gave Ibagwa-Ani its first formally educated generation
🏥 Faith-based health workers fill critical gaps in government health provision
🤝 Church communities provide mutual aid when government safety nets are absent
🏗️ Congregations have built, renovated, and funded community infrastructure
🗣️ Clergy are respected moral voices who mobilize communities for development
And alongside the Catholic tradition, the voices of Anglican, Pentecostal, and Evangelical congregations have joined the chorus — each denomination adding its distinctive note to the rich, layered faith harmony of Ibagwa-Ani.
And still, woven quietly beneath all of it: the older covenant — Ani, the earth, the ancestors — observed in the masquerades, the yam offerings, the burial rites. Not in contradiction. In completion.
This is a community with many ways of reaching the sacred — and enough wisdom to know that the sacred, however it is called, points always toward the same thing: a life well-lived, in a community worth belonging to.

  • Agu Umabor is one of the autonomous communities in Eha-Alumona, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.

During the Nigeria Civil war, it played host to displaced persons from most of the local government areas in Enugu North Senatorial zone. The IDPs enjoyed the hospitality of the community throughout the period the war lasted.

However, Agu Umabor remains the only community in Eha-Alumona town that is yet to be connected to the national grid. It is a community in the dark. Most of the residents of the community have never seen an electric bulb.

Agu Umabor is one of the autonomous communities in Eha-Alumona, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.

A trip to Agu Umabor is like a journey to nowhere. A stranger would likely have the impression that he was going to an evil forest. No access road, no electricity, factors combining to make the journey dreadful.

Ordinarily, a journey to Agu Umabor from Premier Junction, Eha-Alumona is not supposed to last for more than 20 minutes. However, with the terrible nature of the road, the trip takes more than 2 hours. It is hardly accessed with vehicles. The only means of transportation has remained commercial motorcycle riders, who have so much monopolized the journey owing to the bad nature of the road. The poor rural dwellers are forced to cough out between N1000 and N1500 each time they plan to visit their relatives outside the area or go to market. This is considering that once you get to the community, you cannot go beyond it as there is hardly any other road connecting it to other communities.

Although the community is very close to Enugu capital city, there is no connecting road. Consequently, the residents must mount motorbike, drive for nearly one hour in what could be explained as a ‘merry go round’, before they can board a vehicle to Enugu.
Also worrisome is the discovery that the community has never been captured in Enugu’s budget ever since the State was created. No wonder it looks like a community in another world. Little wonder the residents look forgotten, dejected and neglected.

One of the worst scenes in Agu Umabor is the manner they convey dead bodies to places of burial. Owing to lack of roads, residents turn themselves to hearse. For a journey of more than three hours, members of the community lifts the coffin on the waiting head of two volunteers. Two of the volunteers would stand erect, one in the front and the other person slightly behind. The coffin is now lifted unto their heads and they will take off accompanied by wailing women. At intervals of 30 minutes, the corpse bearers exchange with two other persons while they have some rest. Most times, stench would be oozing out from the corpse in question, which may have lasted for two or more days. This is the agony of a people with no access road, where poverty does not just stink but speaks.

The situation is the same in the area of health and educational facilities. It is quite unbelievable that a community with a population of over five thousand residents has no single hospital. As unbelievable as it may sound, there is no functional hospital in the community. A dying person has to be transported for over three hours, with motorbike serving as ambulance. In most cases, the patient dies even before getting to the hospital owing to the stress and rigours involved in traveling via the death-path called road. Only few hardly makes the journey alive to the poorly equipped private church hospital outside the community.

Their primary schools is like a goat barn, not different from most of the residential houses found in the area. This is as over 80 percent of the buildings in the community are mud houses. The teachers, who helplessly reside outside the community, rarely comes to school more than once in a week.
